What is processed and why

This site uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking. Personal data is processed only in the following cases:

• Hosting (GitHub Pages). The site is served by GitHub, Inc. (USA). When you visit, GitHub may automatically log your IP address, browser type, and request timestamp for security and operational purposes.
• Web fonts (Google Fonts). Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). Your IP address is transmitted to Google to deliver the fonts.
• Email. If you write to the email address on this site, your message and email address are processed in order to reply. Email is delivered via Gmail (Google LLC).

International transfers

GitHub and Google are based in the United States. The Swiss Federal Council recognises the United States as providing adequate protection for participants in the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

Server logs are retained by GitHub according to its own policies. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the conversation, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the FADP you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data concerning you, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
